tiger2power
The modular electrical system is designed for self-builders and installers with a suitable level of technical understanding. The idea is to empower you as a self-builder to really get to know your own system, so that—especially on long-term journeys—you’re able to identify and solve any issues yourself. All of our modules come with clear, easy-to-understand documentation to make installation accessible even for non-professionals. However, the focus is very much on self-installation. It’s essential that you realistically assess your own skills, and if needed, bring in partners with the right expertise—ideally before your journey begins. Please note: We can’t install these systems for you over the phone or offer remote troubleshooting for your setup. You can find more information about tigerexped power pro here.

With our tigerexped power pro program, you receive a well-thought-out, thoroughly tested, and professional system featuring carefully selected components—reliable high-end technology that’s usually only installed by professional vehicle outfitters. Each set of modules is individually tailored to your needs and travel habits through personal consultation, ensuring you get exactly what suits you best. Every system comes with clear documentation, making installation possible even for non-professionals (though you still need to realistically assess your own level of technical understanding). Note: Cables and cable lugs are not included in the tigerexped power pro system, but you can of course order them separately in our shop.

You’ll need a solid understanding of automotive electrics—including basics like cable sizing calculations—or a partner who can support you with the right technical know-how.

Note: Any 230V work must be inspected and signed off by a certified electrical specialist.

We also assume you have a well-equipped workshop for this kind of installation. This should include a crimping tool, wire stripper, heat shrink tubing, testing tools (such as a multimeter — a phase tester screwdriver isn’t enough!), and, where necessary, a ferrule crimper and a heavy-duty cable lug crimper for up to 50mm².

Tip: If you need to crimp particularly thick cables, your local electrician might be able to help out.

We’ve thoroughly tested these systems, and our documentation is designed to make self-installation possible for you. We’re happy to support you with planning and answer any general questions you might have. However, please understand that we can’t provide step-by-step installation guidance over the phone, nor can we troubleshoot installation errors remotely afterwards.

You’ll need to read and follow the user manuals for all components—this includes installation, programming, and troubleshooting if necessary. A proper and careful installation is essential. For any 230V components, make sure they are inspected and approved by a certified electrician.

For joint planning, our tech support needs information that can be broken down to the question:

Who drives when, with what, where and what do they do there?

-> Who (how many travellers and what do they do), when (times and seasons, duration and stages), with what (vehicle and its size, roof area), where (destinations, countries, hours of sunshine) and what does it do there (which consumers are to be operated and for how long)?

I hereby consent to my personal data provided above being stored and used for the aforementioned purpose in order to respond to my enquiry. This consent can be revoked at any time. You can find more details about the processing in our privacy policy.
