The Belief diesel built-in cooktop features a powerful main cooking zone and a second cooking area that is heated indirectly. The second zone cannot be controlled separately; instead, it uses the heat generated by the burner and transferred across the glass-ceramic surface.

While cooking on the main zone, the second area is particularly suitable for keeping food warm, allowing dishes to rest or gently continuing to cook food that has already been heated. This makes efficient use of the available cooking surface without requiring a second independently adjustable burner.

The flat glass-ceramic surface integrates neatly into modern kitchen units and is easy to clean. When the cooktop is not in use, it provides additional work or storage space without protruding burners or pan supports.

Belief cooktop for indoor installation

Thanks to the separate routing of combustion air and exhaust gases via a floor or side flue, the cooktop is designed for permanent installation inside the vehicle. This clearly distinguishes it from the outdoor cookers in the Belief range and makes it ideal for campers, vans and expedition vehicles with a fixed kitchen unit.

Passive heating lid for cooler evenings

When closed, the lid acts as a passive heating surface. The burner heats the glass surface, which then releases heat quietly into the interior – without an additional fan and without draughts. Ideal for cooler transitional periods in spring or autumn.

Diesel operation for independent travel

Diesel directly from the vehicle fuel tank

The cooktop uses diesel directly from the vehicle fuel tank and does not require gas cartridges or additional fuel containers. Power is supplied via the 12 V onboard electrical system. This creates a fully integrated cooking system for extended trips and independent off-grid cooking.

Efficient and suitable for high altitudes

The output can be adjusted across seven settings up to 2.2 kW.
After the typical diesel-heater-style start-up sequence, the cooktop operates very efficiently with low power consumption. Automatic altitude adjustment ensures stable and clean combustion even at elevations of up to 5,000 m.

Follow the installation manual

The installation must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions in the manual in order to avoid hazards.

Caution: hot surfaces

The glass-ceramic surface and the heating lid become very hot during operation. There is a risk of burns. Heat-sensitive objects must not be placed or stored on the cooktop.

Do not operate while driving

Operation while the vehicle is in motion is not permitted.

Avoid operation without cookware

The cooktop must not be operated without cookware, except when used in the intended heating mode with the lid closed.

Regular operation recommended

If the cooktop is not used for an extended period, it should be operated for approximately ten minutes every four weeks. After switching to winter diesel, operation for at least 15 minutes is recommended to ensure that the fuel supply system is completely filled with the new fuel.

Observe maintenance intervals

The heat exchanger and exhaust system have a maximum service life of ten years and must then be replaced with original parts.
