Ergonomic cooking at a comfortable working height
Lowered burner position for relaxed cooking
When retracted, the Sunken slide-out cooker has the same installation height as a conventional slide-out cooker. Once extended, however, the burner unit is lowered via a folding mechanism and sits approximately 150–170 mm below the installation level. This creates a much more comfortable cooking height – especially for tall rear slide-outs or raised drawer systems.
Comfortable operation even while seated
The lowered position makes the cooker ideal for relaxed evenings cooking outside the vehicle. Instead of standing awkwardly in front of a high rear kitchen drawer, you can cook comfortably while seated or in a natural standing position. Especially during longer cooking sessions, the difference becomes very noticeable.

Diesel and power directly from the vehicle
Like the classic Belief slide-out cooker, the Sunken version uses diesel directly from the vehicle tank and power from the on-board electrical system. Additional fuel canisters, portable tanks or separate batteries are completely unnecessary. The cooker remains permanently installed and is always ready for use.

Up to 4.5 kW adjustable output
The powerful diesel burner can be conveniently controlled via the digital control panel. Output can be adjusted in seven stages or continuously between 1 and 4.5 kW – from gentle simmering to high-heat frying.

After the typical diesel heater-style start-up sequence, the cooker operates efficiently with minimal power consumption. Automatic altitude compensation ensures stable and clean combustion even at elevations up to 5,000 m.

Important safety and operating instructions
For outdoor use only
The portable Belief diesel cooker is intended exclusively for outdoor use. Operation inside enclosed spaces, vehicle interiors, awnings or garages is not permitted.
Only operate when fully extended and lowered
The cooker may only be operated when fully extended, locked in place and correctly lowered. Before retracting, the burner must be fully returned to the transport position and secured.
Use locking pin and rail locks correctly
When extending and lowering the cooker, the slide rail lock and locking pin must be operated in the correct sequence. Incorrect handling may damage the rails or burner assembly.
Always switch off via the control panel
The cooker must never be switched off by disconnecting the power supply. Shutdown must always be performed using the rotary control knob on the control panel. The shutdown process is only complete once the red LED has gone out.
Regular operation recommended
During longer periods of inactivity, the cooker should be operated for approximately ten minutes every four weeks. After switching to winter diesel, a minimum operating time of 15 minutes is recommended to fully fill the fuel supply system with the new fuel.
