Blue Sea Systems single pole battery main switch
The single-pole battery main switch allows you to turn ON and OFF the voltage of the entire electrical system. Used at the battery output, it ensures
- Safety when working on the system
- Protection of the battery from creeping discharge through connected consumers
- Proper shutdown of the system for shipping or other vehicle transport.
The main battery switch can also be used at the battery input between the battery and alternator or charger, where it enables the load to be switched on and off.
Alternator Field Disconnect
The alternator field disconnect (AFD) protects the alternator from damage in the event of a sudden loss of large loads (main switch OFF with engine running).
Ignition Protected
The Blue Sea main battery switch is protected against ignition and approved for installation in the engine compartment. It is therefore suitable for installation in motorhomes, as well as sailing and motor boats.
Flexible mounting option
The housing of the main battery switch is suitable for surface and built-in installation and thus offers maximum flexibility. With its dimensions of 98 x 98 x 79mm, it can be installed compactly.
