344Ah 12V LiFePO4 Battery – Maximum Capacity for Under-Seat Installation
This LiFePO4 battery was specifically developed for vehicles with very limited installation height. Thanks to its low-profile housing and side-mounted terminals, it is ideally suited for installation underneath seats, seat bases or other difficult-to-access areas in camper vans, expedition vehicles and motorhomes.

Unlike conventional batteries with top-mounted terminals, this battery does not require additional clearance above the housing. The two side-mounted main terminals simplify installation and allow for especially compact cable routing.
Despite its low overall height, the battery offers impressive performance figures. With a capacity of 344Ah at 12.8V, it provides approximately 4.4kWh of usable energy storage for extended off-grid operation and demanding onboard electrical systems.
Extremely compact while maintaining high performance
The combination of high-quality LiFePO4 cells, intelligent internal construction and a robust aluminium housing results in excellent energy density. This allows maximum storage capacity within a very compact footprint.
At only 37kg, the battery also remains significantly lighter than many comparable battery systems in this capacity range.
High continuous output for demanding applications
The battery is capable of delivering high continuous currents for demanding onboard consumers:
- Maximum continuous discharge current: 250A
- Maximum continuous charge current: 180A
This makes the battery suitable for powerful 12V electrical systems and inverter installations in the range of approximately 3000W continuous output, depending on cable sizing, fuse protection and overall system configuration.
Integrated heating for reliable charging at low temperatures
Like all high-quality tigerexped LiFePO4 batteries, this model features an integrated heating system. If cell temperatures fall below the permitted charging range, the battery automatically heats itself to enable safe charging.
This is especially beneficial for winter travel or vehicles without permanently heated battery compartments.
Dual safety concept for mobile applications
In addition to the electronic protection provided by the integrated BMS, the battery also features a separate hardware-based safety shutdown system. This provides an additional level of protection against short circuits, overloads and system faults.
The robust aluminium housing also ensures excellent mechanical stability for mobile applications.
Very low self-discharge
By deliberately foregoing unnecessary continuous power consumers—such as Bluetooth modules—and utilizing a particularly efficient BMS, self-discharge remains exceptionally low. Consequently, this battery is ideally suited for vehicles that remain unused for extended periods—for instance, over the winter—making long-term storage without the need for regular recharging entirely hassle-free.
