Scanstrut Roam 230 V / 16 A Shore Power Inlet for Campers
Bring 230 V shore power safely into your vehicle at the campsite: the Scanstrut Roam Shore Power Inlet connects the external power supply to your camper's 230 V electrical system and combines the common IEC 60309 connection with the robust, weather-protected design of the Roam Series.
The inlet is rated for 200–250 V AC, 16 A and 50 Hz, making it suitable for 230 V campsite power supplies. With IP68/IP69K protection when the cover is closed, corrosion-resistant components and flexible cable routing, it is particularly suitable for high-quality camper, motorhome and expedition vehicle builds.

Suitable for European 230 V shore power systems
The shore power inlet is designed for a voltage range of 200 to 250 V AC at 50 Hz, making it suitable for standard 230 V shore power systems.
The three-pole IEC 60309 connection with two active conductors and protective earth is rated for 16 A. The protective earth position at 6 o'clock corresponds to the standard configuration for single-phase campsite and caravan power connections.
Secure connection to the shore power cable
The guided plug connection ensures that the connected shore power cable sits securely in place. No additional release lever is required for disconnection, allowing the plug to be removed easily once the power supply has been switched off.
The electrical contacts are made from corrosion-resistant nickel-plated brass. Inside the vehicle, the shore power inlet is connected via screw terminals using flexible, multi-stranded 3 × 2.5 mm² cable.
Flexible cable routing with only 90.5 mm installation depth
With an installation depth of 90.5 mm, the Roam Shore Power Inlet remains compact. The integrated strain relief supports both horizontally and vertically routed connection cables.
Two rear cable exits provide additional flexibility during installation. Like the other connections in the Roam Series, the shore power inlet is installed through a central opening with a diameter of 95 mm.
Weather-protected for exterior vehicle installation
With the cover fully closed, the front achieves IP68 and IP69K protection. The spring-loaded cover features a 90° stay-open position, while 316 marine-grade stainless steel components and UV-resistant construction are designed for permanent exterior use.
A foam gasket for sealing the housing against the mounting surface is included.
