Aerators
The spout is supplied with both a start/stop aerator and a normal aerator. This gives you the freedom to adapt the faucet to your needs.
Installation idea, indoor bathroom:
With the start/stop aerator you could connect the spout to an upstream mixer and a Y-branch, which lets you set up the situation in an indoor bathroom with shower and hand basin perfectly. A shower set would then be used on the other Y outlet, for example: when the start/stop aerator on the faucet is closed, water can be drawn from the shower hose. If you close the rotary valve there (or pull off the hose), the start/stop aerator opens and you can wash your hands – and all of that with a simple installation using just one mixer. Fewer parts, less installation effort.
Installation idea, sink:
Here, too, you can of course combine the spout with the mixer. And if you even mount the mixer in the sink, the countertop stays dry during use.
Installation
The faucet is installed through a 21mm hole. At the bottom is an angled fitting with a 10mm hose barb, and its orientation can be rotated freely thanks to the union nut. The countertop may be 17mm thick at most, otherwise you will have to mill a recess from below.
Scope of delivery:
- Spout with mounted start/stop aerator
- Extra normal aerator
- Angled fitting with 10mm hose barb, thread size ½“
Important operating note: when the cold season with the possibility of frost comes, please be sure to drain all the water from the faucet completely! The best way to do this is to blow air through the spout, keeping the check valve in mind – so in the direction in which the pump also pumps. And/or you unscrew the aerator so that all the water can run out of the spout when the spout is swung into the sink.
