Air Intake Filter / Hose with Filter for Autoterm Parking Heaters
When travelling on gravel roads, off-road tracks or in dusty regions, the combustion air supply of a parking heater is exposed to a high level of contamination. The Autoterm Air Intake Filter with mounting kit helps prevent dust and dirt from entering the heater system and therefore protects sensitive heater components.
The kit consists of an air intake filter including intake pipe and mounting hardware. The filter is integrated into the combustion air intake line and is suitable for heaters with a 24 mm intake diameter. The set is compatible with:
Autoterm Air 2D
Autoterm Air 4D
Autoterm Flow 5D / 5B
Especially recommended for vehicles regularly operated in dry or dusty environments – for example during off-road travel, desert expeditions or on unpaved roads.
The filter element can easily be cleaned when required.
Please note: If the filter becomes heavily clogged, insufficient combustion air will be able to flow into the heater. Therefore, check the filter regularly; otherwise, the heater's performance may suffer.
