The T-Max compressor T160 delivers 160 liters of air/minute, so even large tires can be inflated quickly. The maximum pressure of the compressor is 10.3 bar (150 PSI).
The compressor is connected directly to the battery with the two insulated alligator clips. Under load the T160 draws 45 amps; maximum output is reached at a voltage of 13.8 volts (with the engine running).
Motor and compressor (with stainless steel valves and PTFE piston rings) are directly connected. The compressor stands on a base plate that protects it from vibrations.
The compressor does not have a standard quick-release coupling (NW 7.2). An adapter can optionally be ordered so that tools and hoses from many manufacturers can be connected.
Since the compressor has an electronic fuse, no fuse has to be replaced in case of overload. The compressor can be switched off at the on/off switch without having to disconnect it from the battery.
The compressor is also very well suited for permanent installation in the vehicle.
