TWIN Kit – perfectly controllable, redundant heating for large expedition vehicles
The TWIN Kit is primarily designed for vehicles with a living space from 16 cubic metres upwards. It allows you to control the interior temperature perfectly, whether it is a mild 10 degrees above zero or minus 35 degrees outside. This makes it ideal if you want to travel through all climate zones without being under- or oversupplied with heat.
It also offers the huge advantage of redundancy.

Better temperature control with the TWIN Kit
Why buy two small heaters when, for only a little more money, you could simply buy one large heater with twice the heat output?
There are several good reasons for this:
4 kW heat output – often simply too much
In small and well-insulated vehicles, 4 kW of heat output is simply too much. You constantly swing between too cold and too hot.
In small and well-insulated vehicles, or on trips to destinations that are meant to spoil you with pleasantly mild temperatures, 4 kW of heat output is simply too much. Even on the lowest setting, the interior of your expedition vehicle turns into a sauna and, to bear it, you have to open the window. That is not only a spectacular waste, but also not particularly pleasant. You constantly swing between too cold when the heater is off and too hot as soon as the heater is on.
But if you are considering that you might, after all, want to travel in real winter conditions one day, the power of a 4 kW heater would of course be useful. But just because you want to see snow once every five years, the heater is still completely oversized for the rest of the time.
Soot formation
Oversized also means: your heater is more likely to soot up. Continuous operation at the lowest setting leads to soot deposits and increased maintenance effort.
The TWIN Kit as the perfect solution
The TWIN Kit strikes the perfect balance between too much and too little heat output. One heater runs in everyday use, the second is added when needed.
This keeps the heaters operating in their optimum range – efficiently, durably and cleanly.
Advantage number 2: redundancy
If one heater fails, the second remains active. Especially when travelling, this is a major safety benefit.
Controls and operating panels
One control panel is included in the scope of delivery. You can choose between the following variants:
Comfort Control
Control panel with multifunction rotary knob and display: easy operation, timer function, voltage display and thermostat mode – it is the proven all-rounder, additionally featuring a burn-off reminder and voltage monitoring that can actively switch off the heater to protect the battery.
Touch Control
Modern touch control panel with clear menu navigation. Ideal if you value especially convenient and intuitive operation and like to keep your displays clearly in view.
TWIN mounting flange
Specially developed flange for both heaters. Clean, thermally decoupled installation without lots of individual holes.
What else you need
The ducting system for warm air distribution can of course not be included in a ready-made kit. Every vehicle is different. You can plan the ducting like a normal 90 mm system. The corresponding components can be found in the 90mm System shop category.
Tip for warm air distribution
When distributing warm air, strategically include not only the outlet side of the heater, but also the intake side.
If you can still plan the interior build accordingly, build the furniture, for example, so that the intake air flows along behind the furniture line - this can help prevent condensation and therefore mould in these sensitive areas.
