combiBOIL - One Boiler, All Options
combiBOIL offers three different options for hot water preparation:
1. With an electric heating cartridge.
2. Using hot air from the heating device.
3. Via integration into the engine cooling circuit / with a water heating device.
This combination provides maximum flexibility and efficiency for various applications, making it unique in this market segment.
Monitoring and control with Autoterm Comfort Boiler Control.
The Autoterm Comfort Boiler Control panel, a further development of the Comfort Control, is specially designed to combine the functions of Autoterm heaters and combiBOIL hot water boiler. All heating control options remain available.
Your benefits:
- Display of water temperature in real-time, even on sleepscreen.
- Water temperature pre-settable from 50 – 80 °C.
- Adjustable hysteresis from 5 – 25 °C from the target temperature.
- Overheat protection (configurable): The air heater automatically turns off before water temperature reaches a critical point.
- Usually, no control flap is needed to adjust airflow into the boiler anymore.
- Frost protection: If the water temperature drops to 2 °C, the heater automatically warms the water to +15°C and the ambient air to +7°C. Boiler and water pipes are reliably protected against frost damage.
The Autoterm Comfort Boiler Control is optionally available, exclusively in combination with the combiBOIL hot water boiler.
Note: Autoterm Comfort Control and Autoterm Comfort Boiler Control differ in hardware and software. The standard Comfort Control cannot be updated for boiler functions.
Hot Shower Kit 2.0
After the development of our original Hot Shower Kit in 2017, we now improved the system by collaborating closely with Autoterm.
The heating devices of our long-time partner from Latvia are indispensable in land and sea travel vehicles. With the Hot Shower Kit 2.0, you don't just get a heater and boiler, but a perfectly matched system.
Thanks to the standard G12" screw connections of combiBOIL, issues like an overheating water line between boiler and mixer are now a thing of the past. A heat-resistant steel flex line is already included as standard.
Optionally available, technically matching components for the pressurized water system ensure reliable technology for travel.
Goodbye Control flap
With the ability to control and monitor boiler temperature, regulation via an Y-piece / control flap is finally unnecessary. Before reaching a critical temperature, the heater can be automatically switched from the current heating mode to ventilation to lower the boiler temperature. The resulting rapid cooling allows the heating mode to restart before a noticeable drop in room temperature occurs. Only with extreme heating demands (e.g., double-digit sub-zero temperatures with sub-optimal insulation) a control flap is still potentially needed.
Couple or large family - Get just as much hot water as you need.
combiBOIL is available in three sizes. With capacities of 7, 9, or 12 liters, just the right amount of hot water is heated up without wasting energy. At a temperature of nearly 60°C inside the boiler, 7 liters of water provide pleasantly heated shower water for two people.
Use with other heaters
Using an Autoterm heater is not strictly necessary for the combiBOIL hot water boiler. Hot air for heating the water can also be produced by other heaters. In this case, however, integration of temperature measurement and safety functions will not be present, as the use of the Autoterm control panel requires a connection to a corresponding heater. A control flap and its manual operation are then prerequisites for safe operation.
