monoBOIL Electric Water Boiler
The monoBOIL is a hot water boiler manufactured in Western Europe, meeting the highest standards of quality in both materials and production. It is designed for mobile applications in land and water travel vehicles or tiny houses.
For heating water, the monoBOIL uses an electric heating coil made of a corrosion-resistant special alloy. The heating element can be powered from the onboard supply at 12/24V or by connecting to the 230/120V mains or a sufficiently dimensioned inverter.
The water temperature at which the heating coil automatically switches off is pre-adjustable.
Flexible Mounting Options
The monoBOIL can be mounted on the floor, on the wall, or even on slanted surfaces. Two mounting clamps allow for flexible installation, as the boiler can rotate within the clamps thanks to its cylindrical shape. This makes it easy to find a suitable installation spot in any vehicle.
Built-in Safety Valve
If the system pressure becomes too high, a safety valve opens to prevent damage or leaks in the boiler and water system of the vehicle.
Worry-free in Winter
The safety valve features a lever that can be used to drain the boiler through a drainage hose (not included). This makes winterizing your system quick and easy at this point.
Available in Different Sizes
To meet different needs, the monoBOIL comes in various sizes. Simply choose the one that suits you best. Keep in mind: you can get much more hot shower water than the boiler’s capacity. The monoBOIL heats water up to 83°C, which is far too hot for showering. In this case, cold water must be mixed in, significantly increasing the amount of comfortably warm shower water.
Note: You will need a scald protection device or thermostatic mixer (not included, see item number TEX1764). Alternatively, you can pre-set the boiler’s shut-off temperature to, for example, 40 degrees. However, we strongly recommend using the thermostatic mixer for the reasons mentioned and to ensure double protection against excessively hot water.
monoBOIL for DC and AC Applications
The monoBOIL water heater is available for use in 12 or 24-volt DC systems, as well as for operation with an inverter or mains power at 230 or 120 volts.

Hot Water Connection Kit
Caution: Both the hot water outlet directly on the boiler and the thermostatic mixer can become very hot (depending on the system configuration and settings). Standard (drinking) water hoses and plastic connectors cannot withstand such temperatures over long periods and can thermally deform, which can lead to leaks.
We therefore recommend the hot water connection kit for integrating the boiler into the water system. It includes, among other things, special silicone drinking water hoses (heat-resistant up to 150°C), matching clamps, and connectors. Learn more and order under item number TEX1178.

Da die Halterung des Boilers gedreht werden kann, ist eine Wand-, Decken und Bodenmontage möglich.
Ist ein Wechselrichter vorhanden, kann man dem Boiler über einen 230V Heizstab mehr elektrische Leistung zuführen, was folglich das Wasser schneller erwärmt.
Im Fahrzeug wirken lange Standzeiten, wechselnde Wasserquellen, Erwärmung und Biofilmbildung zusammen. Eine kontrollierte Wasserpflege erhöht die Hygiene und schützt das gesamte System. Die Lebensdauer von Trinkwasser-Entnahmefiltern wird durch die Hemmung der Bioaktivität erhöht.
Chlorbasierte Produkte (z. B. Micropur Forte) dürfen nur strikt nach Herstellerdosierung, im kalten Wassersystem und mit begrenzter Einwirkzeit eingesetzt werden. Anschließend muss das System gründlich gespült werden.

Diese Schäden entstehen nicht durch Materialmangel, sondern durch chemische Fehlanwendung.
Unterschiedliche Desinfektionsmittel sollten nicht parallel oder wechselnd ohne Zwischenspülung eingesetzt werden. Das erhöht die chemische Belastung und bringt keinen hygienischen Vorteil.
Überaltertes oder falsches Kühlmittel schädigt primär Aluminiumbauteile und kann die Wärmeübertragung verschlechtern. Der Edelstahlwärmetauscher ist meist nicht das zuerst betroffene Bauteil.
Diese Hinweise gelten für alle unsere 316L-Edelstahlboiler, unabhängig von Größe oder Ausführung.
Unsere Boiler bestehen aus hochwertigem 316L Edelstahl (1.4404) und sind für Trinkwasser- und Warmwasseranwendungen im Fahrzeug ausgelegt. Sie werden robotergeschweißt sowie innen und außen gebeizt und passiviert, um ein sehr hohes Korrosionsschutzniveau zu erreichen.
Die Lebensdauer eines Edelstahlboilers hängt jedoch nicht nur vom Material und der Fertigung ab, sondern maßgeblich von der Betriebsweise und der Wasserpflege.
