If the weather is too bad for solar yield and you have no possibility to connect the camper to power from outside, this is the only chance to get the batteries full.
Different chargers or charging converters can be used for charging via the alternator. Depending on your needs and the structure of the overall electrical system, with certain characteristic curves, temperature monitoring and control by the BMS.
